About

Zarić is an independent label founded by designer and jeweller, Nastja Zarić. An ode to her Yugoslav roots, the brand draws upon family lineage, personal anecdotes, and a spirited curiosity in its vision. Each piece invites the wearer to embrace an exploration of colour, form, and tactile quality—celebrating the transformative nature of accessory. The aim is to craft adornments that are a joy to own, whilst maintaining an artisanal foundation in their creation. 

Informed by her early years immersed in jewellery and ceramics workshops, Nastja developed her practice further through studies in Engineering (Jewellery and Object Design), at Melbourne Polytechnic. Remaining connected to the wider jewellery trade, she currently works alongside an established goldsmith, exhibits larger-scale work, teaches silversmithing workshops, and holds a membership with the Jewellers Association of Australia.

Small-batch collections are produced with a resourceful and considered approach, incorporating ceramics, gemstones, and materials with existing histories—including inherited and reclaimed archival components.
